I have a Winny 94 as well.I don't shoot it much. .30-30 has become a bit of a boutique round for ancient fudds and currently runs nearly $1/rd with shipping.I have a number of other .30 caliber rifles that will do the same job at a lower price. And most of those other rifles have optics on them for my aging eyes.So mostly it sits in my wood and glass gun cabinet along with a few other wood-stocked blued guns that I have. It's pretty and looks good on display.

I still take mine deer hunting...but I have a wealth of rifles to choose from and I find myself taking the Savage 99 chambered in .300 Savage more often on those occasions.

To be honest, I wish I had a .357 Magnum or .44 in Winchester 94. But Im not complaining.

I've had my eye on a Marlin 336 in 357 to go with my Ruger Security Six.But lots of other stuff on the list before that.
