       I have been thinking about how to word this since it happened and I'm still in shock.One of my floor managers, a man that until today I respected called all the other managers to the break room. He said he considers us family and wanted us to be the first ones at work to know his daughter was pregnant and getting married.There was a joyous atmosphere, people congratulating him. Genuinely happy for him. Calling him Grandpa jokingly. Then it went completely SIDEWAYS.He showed us a picture of the happy couple. The thing she is marrying is blacker than the deepest pits of hell at night. Literally smile so I can see you black. Vanta black even.I have never in my life felt the happiness leave a room that fast. The atmosphere changed in a way you could physically feel it. No one even knew what to say and it got really really awkward. I think I managed to get out something like "Well thats certainly some news" before I fled the room knowing if I didn't I'd end up without a job. I've never been that uncomfortable in my entire life and I lost all the respect I had for him seconds.
