       How can she officiate weddings without saying he was a judge? I'm pretty sure that like California, that state has a statute that lists who can officiate and specifically lists "Retired or Former Judge". I mean.... it seems like he'd have to assert being a judge to trigger authority under the statute.

       I'm guessing she has a side gig running gay weddings and wanted clarification whether she could continue doing it, then someone checked the list and found out she qualified under some other category, but didn't want her using the position to imply she was still a judge.
