@aral many French newspapers (La Voix du Nord just as an example) also have these options so both sides of the Channel seem willing to stretch the meaning of tthe GDPR.

@aral Much as Brexit is a stupid idea, this nonsense is also permitted in the EU, under a recent-ish ECJ ruling. Viadeo, for example, does it.
