There isn't much going on gab. Besides posting what I like in my groups, it's not friendly. Once Nice Crew left, the few that are left behind try, but it's not the same. I really feel that this is a much friendlier place to be.

it's a million times friendlier here. gab was full of tryhards who just could not be civil and display basic courtesy in case it made them look weak, and a large number were greatly concerned with their follower counts. they would refer to themselves as "accounts" the way ppl do on xwitter and were careful not to let any comments stand that might in some way besmirch the way they were perceived. also it really touches me that so many dudes here value socially retarded women

in a fit of boredom and loneliness a couple of years ago I made a fb account to see what my old compadres were up to. it was tumbleweed city, most hadn't posted in at least a year. I remembered that one of the reasons I left fb in 2015 was that it enabled me to discover that I didn't really know people I had known for decades. they would post cringe that I didn't know they were capable of. in the before times, people fell out of touch and it was ok to leave it like that
