I am not a fan of GNOME but if you actually read it says they must comply with US sanctions law. It doesn't make GNOME a Zionist organization. If anything it makes the USA a pro-Zionism country, but we all know they always been like that.CC: @thelinuxEXP@mastodon.social

If they are based in the US they can't say that they oppose US law? It would do more harm than good to them if they said they opposed US law like they could be taken to court and get sued. And I don't think the GNOME foundation has the means to deal with that or the funds at all. Privately you can do what you want but publicly things are different.CC: @thelinuxEXP@mastodon.social
