       @ChrisMayLA6 I am getting an "All people's lives matter" vibe from some of the answers. Yes you can't force anyone to live their life in a particular way, but women face SPECIFIC issues in this regard. There is no male equivalent of what is happening right now to women in countries like Afghanistan. Men are not directly affected by the abortion bans spreading over the USA. Men are not getting their penises cut off so they can be free of sexual temptation and come to their wife's bed in a pure state. Men are not subject to a daily barrage of misogyny and rape culture.

       @ChrisMayLA6 People should consider that as a species we're all in this together, when we waste energy fighting each other we take away from the positive side of the possibility sphere.  Freedom is intrinsically linked to responsibility, people want freedom without responsibility but when given that freedom results in actions that bring harm to others, that freedom ends up being taken away.  Use the freedom responsibly and you can keep it.  And this tends to be collective, so even if one individual operates responsibly and with integrity, if his or her cohorts don't, freedoms tend to be taken from the group.

       @Irmgard @ChrisMayLA6 that is not 'the worst part', like at all. The reasons people APPEAR to you to accept persecution, discrimination and prejudice are many and complex.The worst part? Is that any of that bigotry exists and affects us. The worst part is men who create, uphold and benefit from it daily. Who avoid consequence.Raise your sons to respect other human beings, including those of different genders, to not hate and punch down at them, to be better.To resist and undo patriarchy.And stop blaming women for being victims of misogyny.

       @nanook nope, again that is not the 'worst' part. Anyone who knows anything about oppression should know it is intersectional and that most of us have multiple overlapping identities that are affected by power structures in different and overlapping ways. People should know the words intersectional, misogynoir, hegemonic masculinity, kyriarchy and more. If not, you have more learning to do. Oppression existing and affecting people is worse than anyone's assumptions.Assumptions tend to form part of why people are oppressed. The harm it causes is the worst thing.  @ChrisMayLA6
