@foone @alice You live an interesting life, lol. I've probably interacted with a lot more FBI agents than the average American, but the only folks with suits and radio earpieces showing up at my wedding were the groomsmen (long story)

@azonenberg @alice oh, I was once at a wedding where I found out all the groomsmen were concealed carrying firearms! but that wasn't an FBI thing, just a southern thing.There weren't any feds at my wedding... as far as I know

@foone @alice oh no, the grim reaper was a guest he didn't mess with the other guests. At least two attendees have died since mine as well but I am not aware of any new gender changes (the only trans guest I can remember was already out by that time)

@aliceI was consripted into the german army in spring 2001. Back then conscription was doing your service, playing soldier and then going home. But then 9/11 happened and everyone was shocked.A few days later the newspaper showed the faces of the terrorists, captured on camera at Frankfurt Airport. One of our soldiers came into the office I was assigned to, saw the pictures and froze up in shock. He looked dead at me, pointed at a picture and said: "I know this guy!"Turns out he lives in Frankfurt and went to party on the weekend before. There he met one guy, they drank together, talked, went to a different party and had a fun time. After the guy learned that my comrade was a soldier they went to his place where he lives with his mom and he showed him his uniform, the guy tried it on, they took pitcures, etc. A usual "Yay, I made a new friend" weekend. They exchanged numbers and the guy went off.And all that came to my comrade soldier when he saw the picture of the people who hijacked the planes and flew them into the WTC in the name of al Quaida. I still get the chills when I think of that story.#TellAlice
