This Is Fiction:Pete Hegseth is giving a press conference and one of the reporters asks the kind of reasonable but substantial question that is rare and that tends to make him angry. Hegseth starts spouting his strange self-consciously masculine war cliche's and catch phrases, and when he is done there is no follow up question (normal for the frighted press) but there is also ... silence (abnormal)1/

This is when one of the reporters, a baritone begins to sing with focus and gusto:"we'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when..."And slowly the whole press core joins in. They sing the whole song. Pete is confused. He tries to smile... are they... singing for him? Like it's his birthday? But what is that song?2/

I've actually seen this used as a protest method before. A whole room of people singing can be a very powerful thing. And if you don't know why they are doing it, if they won't let you talk? Even better.Anyway... this will not happen, but I can dream.
