Once a market saturation occurs the red line flattens, so despite making millions with current customer base they think only that they are losing profits because red-line-flat. So they change packaging to save a penny per box. Then they make product 5% smaller. Then cheaper or fake ingredients... The guys who made the original are replaced with corner cutters as they make profits go up. This is the fallacy of capitalism being considered a 'good' thing. It always destroys the good original and gives you a turd instead...

Never used to be like it until about 15-20 years ago but slow drip feeding them poison in their diets have acclimated them and bone idle parents will just feed any old shit to their offspring. My parents had no shortage of deep flaws but they were better than that, at least.
