@PNS Those two tards were banned for life from all MLB ballparks. What this closeup doesn't show is that the player was hanging above ground for a moment while they tried to take the glove. He could have been hurt.

@BeachGrassMedia You don't see this sort of disrespect from fans of other sports.Hockey has some bad fans, but then again, hockey players have always dealt with it directly. The spectacle of hockey players in the stands meting out justice comes to mind.

@PNS I agree, but baseball players have gone into the stands on occasion in the past. I remember Jim Rice doing that in the 80s during a regular season game. This was game 4 of the world series; probably overall better to not start fighting fans and potentially getting hurt in this situation.

@BeachGrassMedia The NHL had to basically threaten to ban players for life if they did it. Between Boston, Philly and NYC, there was a period in the 70s where brawls extending into the audience were common.

@BeachGrassMedia A hockey game is remarkably civil and sophisticated now. The arenas are all new and techno AF. You're not outdoors where everything seems possible.

@PodunkPotato @BeachGrassMedia I'm saying the Northeast has some real sports fans.
