@foone I chose null (i.e., to delete my middle name)This has broken many systems and call center operator brainsIf you wanted to make a choice that broke the maximal number of systems that wasn’t just blank, choose a name with at least three space delimited tokens and which is possible to say over the phone. e.g., Alice Correct Horse Battery Staple Averlong. You will then see what badly designed systems decide to split on what word for the last name.

@ZiggyTheHamster my previous name's Entirely Normal Middle Name apparently broke a lot of systems, actually: my driver's license has my name as "FooneMIDDLENAME Turing", but only on the digital barcode on the back, the front has me as "Foone MIDDLENAME Turing"This hasn't caused any issues yet, but it does mean every airline boarding pass I've ever gotten has been misprinted

OGHAM SPACE MARK (U+1680) is to my knowledge the only visible character classified as whitespace: Or you could go "extended Unicode" as implemented by Perl. Who needs a codepoint limit of U+10FFFF or a UTF-8 size limit of 4 bytes anyway? Use U+123456 or something. 🎉
