       @DC5FAN @judgedread My impression is that they believed some really bad intelligence, probably from the spy they had high up in the Iranian echelon, that the government just needed a wee push to collapse and then be replaced with some ZOG friendly alternative.  Since that didn't happen, and is not going to happen, they're left fumbling around all-thumbs trying to figure out what to do.
