       @GD5426 Not going to happen. Genetics was crushed via litigation in the 20th century. I have no faith in governments not doing it again once genetics hits another critical moment where people start turning heads. IVF babies with genes specifically selected for IQ are already quite polemical, it's going to happen soon.

But TL;DR, when dealing with microscopic levels of complexity, you'll encounter an exponential amount of variables. Every gene in some way interacts with another, turning what popular science sees as a "basic" genetic modification like changing one's eye colour from green to blue into a herculean effort requiring an amount of R&D rivaling the Manhattan Project.
