       I get that we're all still hurting from touching the stove of Donald Trump 2016, but if we've learned anything from that experience it should be that there's nothing inherently wrong with LETS FUCKING GOOOing people who say the right thing and absolutely fucking bodying them the moment they try to cuck out.        @dickflatteningenthusiast The problem is that the overton window widening doesn't accomplish anything. In fact as we've seen in the US it can hurt naicent political movements. Get them to through in with the establishment before they're well set in enough. If someone's on here and an American they'll have been burnt too many times by big talkers to feel anything but cynicism.

       There is much ado about the concept of "splitting the vote" here, which is to be expected, but i have fucking detested this cope for a very long time because it fundamentally protects the electoral system and the people within it from ever, EVER facing the consequences of their actions. Its textbook emotional manipulation deployed en masse by partisans to dupe you.If you're not willing to punish bad behaviour because it will indirectly inconvenience you, you deserve more bad behaviour.

       Funnily enough, this is exactly what Hasan Piker is currently in hot water over.        @dickflatteningenthusiast A lot of people here have a very strong sense of learned helplessness that they seek to indulge at the drop of a hat. Lowe isn't any sort of political savior but this rhetoric should be amplified and pushed even further.
