GLM 4.7 has been pretty good for running my cyberpunk 2020 RPG session. Kimi K2.5 Instant did okay but they rate limit you. I haven't been rate limited by GLM yet. Still experimenting with Qwen 3 Max, which is faster than GLM.I might end up releasing my Cyberpunk 2020 "Lore Book" once it's been refined. I wrote a tiny python program to assist with dice rolls. Some site already publishes all the in game items in JSON format.I'm INNOVATING. This is INNOVATION.

@s8n no, it's all dynamic and mostly responsive. If you initiate with my lorebook it just seems to plop you down in a random situation. It's not like there's a grand narrative arc inside the model. It's gonna make it up as it goes along, it can't really keep a secret from the user. But it all seems reasonable and plausible, and if it's totally fucked up I'll just give it an OOC correction.

Sounds that way. I've been using Deepseek to see how AI handles GMing and it is getting there. Still really likes to metagame or speak/act as a player character a lot. Hard to break it of it, but if you spat its wrist whenever it does it it will minimize it eventually.

@s8n but on the other hand, GLM 4.7 has been very good at keeping long running narratives going. Stuff that happened at the very start continues to be brought up. It's creating it's own world lore as it goes along, it actually tends to get fixated on it a bit too much. Harassing you to go back and look at some quest-type-thing after you've kinda explicitly ignored it.

@crunklord420 I thought about trying it. People were gushing about GLM although apparently it's been getting worse at crestive writing since 4.5

@s8n I also have the LLM play my sidekick character. I'm going it Disco Elysium style. He's my straight man for my ultra violence hijinx.
