Whilst it will necessitate some degree of recognition of and dealings with the Taliban, and the way women and girls are treated there is abhorrent and not something anyone wants to implicitly condone or support, I’m afraid that protecting women and girls begins at home.https://spectator.com/article/the-afghan-asylum-crime-wave-has-to-stop/This has to end. We can’t keep letting these men in and waiting to see which ones will rape children. Our current policy is neither wise nor moral. Those who advocate for it, who demand our borders remain open, and who urge us to welcome ever more dangerous migrants like to believe they are good and virtuous but they are causing a very great evil to be done to our nation. The doctrine of ‘kindness’ is nothing of the sort. It’s time for serious decisions. Afghan migrants pose far too great a risk. They should not be here. Politicians need to be brave, to step forward and say that we must close our borders to Afghans, and that those who are here must be deported. As Rob Bates says, ‘other European countries return individuals to Afghanistan, it is time Britain does the same – the Afghan population in this country is predominantly made up of asylum seekers or those resettled in the country. Refugee status is not permanent and we are under no long term obligations.’https://archive.ph/g0qTk

At some point the natives might snap and things become violent..I just wonder which side the women in this country will take ??I only ask because the majority of the "refugees welcome" crowd seem to be gen z/late millennial or boomer women on a last "it's the 70's again" hurrah..

@95c7f867802a9c7cfb1d2b243be152234864e2cf9f60f467ae32bf1cf05f89fb Like the old maxim that a conservative is a liberal who has been robbed, it may well take it happening to someone in their own family / social circle to make them see what’s happening.

@Flick Why not just ban all male asylum seekers from Afghanistan? As for this rapist, punish him according to Afghanistan law by death, stoning, or flogging.Under the current regime, the punishment for rape generally falls into two categories:Corporal and Capital PunishmentIf a case is treated as a severe "Hudud" crime (crimes considered to be against the will of God), the punishments can include:Public Execution: In extreme cases, especially those involving the death of the victim or severe social outcry, the Taliban have carried out public executions.Stoning to Death: Though rare in recent years, the Taliban leadership has publicly reaffirmed that stoning is an integral part of their legal system for crimes like adultery (which rape is often categorized under).Flogging (Lashing): Public whippings (often between 30 to 100 lashes) are frequently used for sexual "vices" and are a common sentence for various sexual crimes.

I don't know any refugees welcome people, not sure they even really exist outside of being a rent a crowd mob and some university students.

I unfortunately do. They are very easily maniuplated people that don't do a lot of their own thinking. Its all about their feelings. It's a bit weird that it skipped a generation, the two i know well are a grandmother and her granddaughter.. the mother in the middle is my freind and is as "based" as they come 🤣

Well I suppose they werent going to be logisticians or accountants considering how bloody overcrowded it is here already and the sheer cost of running this Serco enriching scam is(£1.9 billion/10 years just for them!) . I have always considered the interviduals (certainly not corrupt organisation that derive money from the state) who 'feel' we should have these migrants here should stump up the money to sponsor a migrant themselves and be liable for thier actions too otherwise they should get be sent back. I dont think they will be feeling quite the same when they get 2x4 round their head from reality.

I agree there. An asylum system based on "if you want them, you take them" would be better.Pretty much how we organised the kinder transport back before WW2..

Would probably have been good not to have spent decades bombing Afghanistan, I mean who would want to stay there? This is all downstream of western foreign policy. Blow shit up while dropping papers out of the sky saying ‘hay we just some cool guys and gals’.It is what it is.

I agree, I was against that then like many in the country, by the time Iraq happened millions were already marching against it.Vet the good Afghans and give them Blair and Mandy's money and whoever else caused that issue for all care. The issue is we socialise the consequences of the actions of the few the people causing the pain, thus they dont get the feedback then are liable for. So the next lot like Cameroon come in and repeat in same action in Libya knowing they will also not have to deal with any of the fallout.

That being said just because someone has wronged your country doesnt mean you can travel half way round the world and claim asylum and then proceed to rape a 12 year playing on the swings. As it's not the only one who has done this and similar issues I have no problem with precisely none of them being here.
