       A friend of mine who also burns wood got ahold of me today and offered me a few nice trunks of honey locust. He said another guy gave him the wood but he was warned it's highly toxic to cattle. I said I'd never heard that and at my old house my neighbor pastured cattle on my land where I had quite a few honey locust trees and they were always fine. He wanted to play it safe and honey locust has excellent BTU value so I wasn't going to turn it down. If only we had magic elf boxes in our hands at all times where we could look up information like this. Oh well.
