       @thenoid @ariadne I remember when we had ten times as many, and they were all shit, and each little clique you belonged to had it's own preferred chat system, so you ended up installing a dozen, then realizing you could use pidgin and rationalize them.Until the providers all broke their protocols in a way to fight pidgin.

       @kkarhan @ariadne imo deltachat has the best of both worlds you have reliable message delivery/storage quotas/control from email servers and the ability to send p2p data via iroh
