@xaetacore I know a Dutch city guy can't imagine that but if I want to go to a chink restaurant I have to plan hours of my day for it. To get to the city already takes 1.5-2 hours

@maika @xaetacore thats why I did it before corona ended and not after. I went from 38k/year to 55k and immediately contacted a bank for a mortgage. Now I earn 75k which is more than enough to pay it off (1.3k/month)

@teto@cawfee.club The Dutch housing market is beyond fucked, the prices are through the roof and they are not building enough, i wish i lived in a German village , I bet getting a drivers license does not take 6 months of waiting(between each exam attempt) either

@xaetacore well if you can work remotely you can get houses in east germany for like 80k. Because they are depopulating and nobody wants to live in ghost towns. Except for remote workers.
