       @winter @krankheit @wire_witch  everything that's different from imageboard culture is Redditjust like how “> ” blockquotes, with a space after the bracket (as opposed to ones without, which is greentext), are “reddit quotes”, even though the convention probably predates Reddit by decades and is used in most places that aren't imageboards (e.g. email)when someone calls something like that Reddit (at least when it's directed at me to police my writing) i am just tempted to circle it back at them.  this common convention is Reddit?  how so, are you so much of a Redditor that this is the first association that comes up in your mind?  i didn't even know Reddit had that.
