       @eee I really need to do the sound dampening insulation shit to the cab of my truck. I have a huge roll of the stuff I just need to pick up some spray adhesive.

       @Spergo1875 technically you just need to put a bit on every panel to stop resonance, covering it all also helps with thermal insulation which is nice

       @eee @Spergo1875 When I did my El Camino, I went 100% coverage on the floor and firewall, then just put strips across any sheet metal panel that flexed when pushed with a finger. Went from not even being able to hear the radio to being able to actually use hands free mode at a normal speaking volume.

       @christmasman @Spergo1875 covering the entire roof in your climate also helps against the sun somewhat, kinda insane that it doesnt come factory standard that way

       @eee @Spergo1875 Yeah, after finishing up the carpet and doing a test drive, all the road noise came from up around head level so I wanted to do the roof, but my headliner was in perfect condition and I didn't wanna fuck it up.
