With how many games Yuuki has participated in and won, do you think her blood is all magic medicinal cotton now, with how many times she probably has gotten transfused with the magic plot substance?

@SuperSnekFriend If her blood is all plot substance, does that make her immune to vampire attacks? :jahy_derp:

@SuperSnekFriend >with how many times she probably has gotten transfused with the magic plot substance?I think it's a one time treatment, and girls are only "drafted" (for lack of a better word) into the death games once generally, after that it's mostly individual choice to keep going, with the ones managing it all keeping track of everyone who has ever participated. Still her body is in no way even a fraction of what it was before she started doing this, injuries and near-death experiences everywhere.

@Iffine >I think it's a one time treatmentWith how art farty this anime has been, there has presumably many details lost from the LN.

@SuperSnekFriend It could also be something not explained yet, I'll be honest the order of events is a mess in my mind because the LN order is (intentionally) a complete mess. It jumps around a lot to give a feel for Yuki, her mentality, her actions, how she treats others, and generally the most interesting or notable of the games she partakes in.

@SuperSnekFriend Additive to this, generally jumping around can be a good hook for a story as it shows the reader/viewer something to look forward to, that there is a future to be built towards before de-escalating the stakes. This series *kind of* handles it well, but it has weird pacing that leads to situations where a younger version of Yuki with a less mature view set on the games needs to be immediately reconciled with a far later one who has seen so much more. Generally these jumps are connected via minimal references to important points, wont specify what specific one I'm thinking of in case the anime gets to it since it's actually alright but not all of them land that well. Also, every single volume does this. It would be fine for an intro to the volume, but instead it's often a whole half of the novel. The order as noted by what I've read so far is game 28 > game 9 > interlude chapter > game 10 > game 30 > interlude chapter >game 40 > game 44 (for 4 whole chapters) > interlude chapter. There's a *vague* sense of what the author is going for overall, but it's a little messy when actually reading through.
