The only reason I've even stumbled on this in the first place is because I'm trying to figure out whatever happened to Michael Leupold, who used to be a pretty active KDE developer. His code contributions dried up around late 2010 but his GitHub apparently shows that in 2015, he came back to finish some Coursera courses on the R programming language and data science....I'll be damned if I don't traverse this rabbit hole, even if it leads to nothing. I am just so baffled by this single fact.

Michael Leupold, for those who aren't aware, was involved in the development of the Secret Service API standard (among many other standards, such as Idle Inhibition or whatever, I didn't dig too deep) and so much of KDE's software. His entire paper trail, all from his code contributions to even his website disappears around 2010, it's literally as though he disappeared from the globe and then he comes back 5 years later.
