Communism and socialism has shown they will tend to shorten the healthy lifespan of a society. Might as well smoke asbestos coated cigarettes. But what we have had up until now hasn't exactly been great either. Not as bad as communism, of course not, but it's still proven to be pretty damned unhealthy. If the West were a person, he'd be morbidly obese, riddled with diabetes, infected, dealing with countless parasites, irrationally violent, loss of long term memory ... etc.So what does what I want look like? I couldn't tell you precisely. Not communism, not in total certainly. But not libertarianism either. Libertarianism worships the individual to the exclusion of the family and society. The family is the basic unit of society, not the individual. It worships individual liberty to the point of excess and personal destruction. Do whatever the hell you want, no matter what the impact on the society around you. Do all the drugs, have all the deviant sex, make money any kind of way, and to the winds with the broader impact it might have on society. And of course, up until recently, libertarianism was all for open borders. Many of them still are.Maybe want I want ultimately will include a big scoop of capitalism, maybe a small pinch of socialism, maybe even a couple dashes of funny mustache man. Maybe things we haven't thought of yet. Hell, maybe something like monarchy. On thing I am fairly convinced of is that ideology, all ideologies, should be avoided whenever possible. ideologies are like analogies; they quickly break down when taken too far or you try to apply them to all situations.Besides, libertarianism is only really attractive to slightly autistic white men. Sure, you find people from other demographic who call themselves libertarians, but their numbers are statistically insignificant. Blacks don't give a crap about libertarianism, neither do Hispanics or Chinese. Indians sure as hell don't care about it. Libertarianism would only ever have the slightest chance of working if everyone in a libertarian society was dedicated to the ideology. Otherwise free riders, immigrants, and other outsiders bring the whole project down. No, for your libertarian society to even have a chance at working, you would have to be such a raging ethno-nationalists that it give pause to even those here. You would have to kick out every non-white, then you would have to take away the right to vote from 95% of the women.
