       @shortstories being paid to perform a service (i.e. teachers, police officers, military, etc.) is not welfare. They're not being given money for existing, even if the money comes from taxpayers.All cash is made by the government, and the banking system is dependent on the government, so by that logic, everyone is on welfare, and thus nobody is on welfare.See how stupid that sounds?
