"Satanism" didn't even exist in any form until the 19th century when the Black Mass was being done by Bohemian circles (particularly in France) as a kind of performance art blasphemy against the image of Christianity. this was a product of the witch hunts in Europe, which themselves could arguably be traced back to rhetoric in the early days of the Church when there were lots of politics involved in suppressing the heretical strains of Christianity like Gnosticism because they threatened its hegemony and also represented a syncretic adaptation of religions that were indigenous to Europe as well as the Mediterranean as a crossroads of the near-east and Africa.my point being that there has never been any living tradition of "Satanism", and this is evident in how every form of Satanism that exists in the modern world, from the Church of Satan to the Temple of Set to the Order of the Nine Angles have all, without failure, been connected to spooky fed shit. Satanism is and always has been little more than an inversion of the same Christian slave morality which posits the existence of some form of "evil", except it has a kind of accursed share function where the elites engage in the kinds of ritualistic practices of cruelty and degeneracy that they have been projecting onto their enemies for hundreds of years. they do this because it is and always has been the secret wish of every orthodox Christianity (not orthodox as in Eastern Orthodox but as in the mainstream and established form of Christianity) to engage in the sorts of things they project onto their enemies.all the lies that the Church made up about the Gnostics, the witch hunts, the Satanic Panic, all of these things were complete fabrications that arose from the unconscious of repressed white men, and actually existing Satanism has been nothing more than them enacting these repressed desires in secret.
