I do a monthly computer giveaway for my business. Had a very pleasant phone conversation with this month's winner. He's an older retired guy. Former business owner. He was sick of Windows and started using Linux on his own a couple years ago. So the computer I will be getting to him will have Linux on it (though he may erase and install his own). He prefers Linux Mint, but wants to try Zorin.#Linux #business #LinuxMint #zorinOS

@matthew A surprising number of people I know in their 60's and beyond have switched to using Linux Mint specifically. I'd say it's more common in my own experience than those of a younger age, who if not IT people, tend to stick with Windows, Mac or more recently ChromeOS. I'm not quite sure what to make of it to be honest.

@matthew This is the way! The truth is, that todays desktop linux is in _every single way_ a better and easier experience than Windows 11. My father, who is 76 has been a happy linuxuser for about 15 years or so.
