do you intend to affix a rosary to your body at all times? when I pray the rosary, I have it in hand to methodically go through each bead in hand with the prayer and afterwards I put it back in a dedicated pouch. if it is your wish to always wear your rosary but you worry about it getting caught up in things from being loose around your neck, I would suggest you wrap your rosary around your wrist as a bracelet. that way it is also easy to unravel for praying the rosary and there is less chance of the beads catching on things during work or daily activities. you can also sleep and shower with it this way as well.

ah in that case, as long as you have it under your shirt your rosary shouldn’t catch on anything. it should be no problem to always wear it around your neck provided it is not dangling while you are doing things.

not sure of a way good way to keep it on your body while in bed if you toss and turn a lot through out the night 🤔besides the risk of damaging your rosary, in general it is also not safe to wear dangling loose jewelry such as necklaces or earrings while sleeping because it can get tangled in such a way that is dangerous. perhaps you may reconsider placing it on a dedicated rosary holder by your bed on a nightstand.
