@grips no, it’s a retard thing. Obviously you should repeat the letter that you’re holding out, but it’s common IME for people to repeat the last letter.

@grips some ppl do this to avoid doubling the vowel as that can change pronunciation. It still should be read as if the vowel is drawn out. not that uncommon ime
