@thefinn @mjdigspigs @witzsteinberg you should see if there are any farmers nearby that sell quarters of cow on faceberg or whatever the aussie equivalent of nextdoor is for freezer beef. like I buy a quarter every year from my uncle and he lines it up with other buyers who want a quarter/half etc. last year came out to about 3.27 usd a lb and that's for roasts, steaks, and hamburger.
