       I've posted this privately, but I feel the need to express this publicly as well. This is about a sometimes exhausting attitude people in fedi/linux community have. ​:pct_betrayal:​Someone critiques Valve on fedi, and it immediately causes people (mostly linux fans) to get too defensive, in my opinion. This is when it clicked me, how real the "replyguy" phenomenon is.No offense guys, really, at all, but, like, do you unironically think that, someone ON FEDI of all places, when critiquing Valve, doesn't already know EVERYTHING that you are about to say about them positively? I mean, if you find being reply guy fun, you do you man, but I'm letting you know that it makes being in the linux community, and on fedi in general, just more exhausting for those who don't like being emotionally attached to a brand :/Cause a few months ago I still remember how people tried to list me a whole poem of good things that Valve did, when I've just said that Valve wasn't transparent enough to Waydroid devs, when they've apparently forked their work and Waydroid community didn't even get a notice. Or they've tried to list things that I, for some reason, should've critised more, as If should care about topics that I personally don't in my personal blog.Sorry if I came out too toxic, but I've heard this argument for like 100 times, as if I didn't hear it enough and as if I didn't thank our lord and saviour Gaben enough? Which I was, I literally use steam and buy games there, should I really do even more for a company which does these things out of the logical business benefit that linux has, and not for charity?...I just don't understand such attitude.

       @sarahquartz Многие сейчас и правда хвалят валвов, за дело или нет, действительно ли помогает их работа сообществу открытого ПО или нет, но все как будто забыли, что они получают практически всю свою прибыль через интернет-магазин игр, купленными играми в котором пользователи на самом деле не владеют, что, как мне кажется, максимально отвратительно и перекрывает многие их заслуги

       @allonny_outamoon @sarahquartz не говоря уже о том, что довольно давно игнорируют потребности моддеров, даже своих собственных игр.Ещё и казино в нынешних игр популяризировать начали они, с подачи одного известного экономиста.Их ругать есть за что. И я совершенно не понимаю фанатства.
