       @publicvoit Most of the groups from I used to read in the 90s / early 00s are still there (mostly de.* and comp.* ones). Traffic has gone down a lot, though, so a lot of groups are also more or less dead. I actually switched servers over the year, as my previous server was shut off. So, Usenet surely smells a bit funny.

       @schaueho I was a power user on our local community server which doesn't have much traffic these days and will be shut down soon. So actually, I lack international group experience.
