@Ooze @koutropoulos Respectfully, we should be surprised and outraged to see institutions of higher education facilitate gross injustice through the performance of unquestioning obedience. Whatever corruption or cowardice or failures you’ve witnessed/encountered, we should still expect more and better.

@xankarn @koutropoulos Outraged, absolutely. Surprised nope. Expect better? I have tried for a decade to bring my colleagues to less corrupt and more moral positions and progress has been super slow. There is progress though. It's just not enough that I would consider working in academia again any time soon.
