@vitalis The V guard works great for arrows, from what I recall from the first Arrows vs. Armor video.I thought I remember the example in the video having the V up higher towards the neck, but that may be because the breastplate in your video looks to not go up as high.

hmm I think it is normal for the breastplate to rest where it is like in the video, as I currently sport a synthetic polymer breastplate that also has a V guard and it sits about the same on my body. I have had it happen several times where my opponent thrusted up at my chest but the blade catcher deflected the point away to the side. pic attached is the same chest protector I have from MAC Armour CZ
