@realcaseyrollins@social.teci.world @meowski@fluf.club dawg i use arch linux, do computer stuff for work, into guns, airsoft/tactical gear, motorcycles, have a girlfriend, and telescoping/woodworking/making/electronics stuff occasionally. i got really bad news for you about 80% of your women fedi timeline as well.i have a lot of thoughts about why trans people are the way they are typically and whatnot which i could get into in a vc if you want but otherwise i don't really talk about it because i don't like being trans and don't want it to be more of my life than it has to be, but yeah apparently it is a big surprise whenever i tell people (irl, sometimes i go outside) that i'm trans and it causes problems so i let people put the puzzle pieces together if they want

@meowski@fluf.club @realcaseyrollins@social.teci.world it's actually my real voice, i would post the 30 second audio clip i recorded for the bot but now listening to it, it's really embarassing cuz it's kind of just adlibbed nonsense to get the voice sample. but this is all generated on my machine on a regular GPU, and each voice clip probably only takes around 10-15 seconds to generate, and the entire source material it uses is literally just 30 seconds. like the potential for danger here is extremely high. i will say, I had to rerecord my voice clip several times to get rid of as much vocal fry as possible, and even then, the audio tracks it generates has like as much vocal fry as I use normally. just for regular speech the default model really wants to add a ton of vocal fry for some reason. anyways with just 30 seconds of a sample, anyone can clone your voice with very good accuracy, just sometimes it adds weird intonation and breaks. video on the model it's using is here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5aVOjrqouo
