Sigh, not. Turns out to be some kernel/driver bug in my Pocket Reform. Happening to A311D machines. Lucky me.

@tomjennings @GyrosGeier i've checked recent linux commits and they changed stuff in meson-pcie and temporarily broke things, and 6.18.5 misses some of the more recent fixes for that how i understand it. classic regression. i posted some links on IRC earlier

@mntmn @GyrosGeier Thanks! Alas, Linux kernel stuff is way over my head. I probably wont be able to contribute much, but my Pocket does boot, root and /boot on the emmc, so i will format an SD card and try to substitute SD for the nvme /home. Then i will be able to boot normally and try different kernels etc with nvme as some other device.

@GyrosGeier @tomjennings i think @josch is investigating a fix (perhaps linux 6.19 will be the fix)
