Working on it. Researching the issue, I'm thinking it either lost its prime from the pump or the fuel line is froze up.. trying to prime it by attempting multiple restarts... 3 attempts so far...

Yep. That's what restarts are....lol. tried resetting the cpu, killed the battery master power for 5 minutes, trying multiple reboots etc. Its cold enough I bet the fuel line to the heater is jelled up.

@TruckDriver Is it one of those heaters that run off of diesel then? Does it have its own fuel tank or does it get it from the main tank?

Draws off the left fuel tank. Got about 60 gallons in each tank so there's more than enough fuel. Still trying the restarts, hoping its a priming issue. .

@leyonhjelm @RandomDeamon @TruckDriver why don’t they run heat tracing wire and insulate the diesel line?

Lol I work for a large corporation. That idea would make sense so it is absolutely NOT an option they would consider doing

@TruckDriver They don’t care if you freeze. Just as long as the load gets there on time. @leyonhjelm @Haleakalacrater

@TruckDriver and they have your truck timed out so you can't idle to keep the heat on?

Yep. I have something called "opti-idle". Truck will idle for 5 minutes then turn off. If its warm out, you can turn on the AC and the truck will start and shut off automatically to keep the cab cool. In winter, the bunk heater runs on the batteries and the truck will start automatically if the batt voltage drops below 11.9v to protect the starter batteries. Then it'll idle for 90m until the batteries are charged up enough... neat system but a pain when trying to sleep in the summer...lol

While the bunk heater was out of order, I just cranked all the electrical stuff up to keep the battery drawn down so the truck would start every 90m to charge the battery up. Just kept the heater on. It worked well enough. Kinda cold between idle recharging though
