My dad had the last of the Maxima wagons (with the 300Z engine in it, but turned the wrong direction for FWD), best friend's mom had the last of the Accord wagons and I still have my WRX but Subaru also killed their wagon line 😩

@djsumdog there is zero reason for a car to be made front wheel drive. If you need all wheel drive, you shouldn't be going to where you think you need to that day.

I lived in Chicago for three years and Cincinnati for two ... and one year it snowed so much in Cincinnati the city ran out of road salt for two weeks .. AWD was really nice .. well for me .. the stuck civics and such I drove around spinning their tired probably wanted to murder me.

@djsumdog just got 2 feet of snow in new england and my rwd on all seasons does just fine. If you need awd to get around, stay home. The only use case for awd/4wd is rural areas with a lot of dirt/unpaved roads

@creamqueen @djsumdog where I live in Colorado awd is a must. At the very least you need snow tires. I always thought I could get away with all seasons until February rolled around

@creamqueen @djsumdog I mean I'm not saying it's impossible. It just sucks running that for a full season. Getting stuck at eseinhower in a snowstorm is awful.
