       @truthbait @PNS There is a culture of permissiveness that does just encourage further worse behavior. Hard to see a way back from the edge of the societal abyss that doesn't involve levels of retribution unseen in western civilization in well over a century. (Not including eastern europe here, they had it rough a lot more recently than the rest of us)
