The chief federal judge in #Minnesota says the #Trump admin has failed to comply with orders to hold hearings for detained immigrants & ordered the head of #ICE to appear Friday to explain why he shouldn’t be held in #contempt. In an order Monday, Chief Judge Patrick J. Schiltz said #ToddLyons, the acting director of ICE, must appear personally in court. @Nonilex What's going to happen when the judge or court orders them to do things and they don't do it? If they aren't forced to follow orders somehow or put in prison (or the issue goes to the supreme court, where trump decides the outcome) then this is just theatre. It should still be done, but isn't going to fix anything.
