       made the mold yesterday and did the first 2 castings today, caught bubbles in the red circle, and so I'll make one last mold (also the sprue is tooo annoying to remove, I'll probably just 3D print the vents and sprue again)I also tried painting inside the mold which works as long as the paint isn't watery (the resin captures the paint nicely) but I also tested brush-on primer on cast resin and that works better

       The wet beaded paint does make sort of a neat effect though, could work for a chaotic Chrysalis.  The eyes on the green on were the acrylic painted in the mold itself. The purple one is primer on the surface.  Since I plan on doing water slide decals I think the surface primed strat is the best.  I'm not going to paint manes on tails on all of them (unless....)
