@creamqueen idk everyone loves the AU falcon but I have fond childhood memories of the EF falcon station wagon. The ford falcon XF looks cool and comfy though if you're wanting something a bit older. Idk anything about cars that aren't utes or station wagons though.

@cassidyclown wagons and utes are the only cars that logically make sense to buy tbh

@creamqueen probably, a lot of taxis still running with them. Although their numbers have diminished since they mostly ran on LPG which is now difficult to get, unlike back then. A lot of cheap LPG utes that tempted me back when I was car hunting.

@cassidyclown @creamqueen LPG Barras can get to around 800,000+ km before they get tired, that's if the rest of the car hasn't died.

@cassidyclown here in america a lot of forklifts run on propane and we get those filled up locally at gas distributors

@creamqueen I can't remember the details but I looked it up ages ago and they're different enough that you can't do this

@creamqueen @cassidyclown I wasn't asked but I'd go for a Holden VS ute with the 5 litre V8 as it's the last domestically produced V8 or an :aufalconpet: XR6 ute because Intechs are cool.

@syzygy @creamqueen damn there are actually still a fair few stations doing lpg around Perth, at the time I was car-hunting I thought I was soon to be living in the middle of nowhere though :defeated:

@creamqueen @cassidyclown I've seen a petrol Falcon "run" using a propane can with a hose leading into the throttle.

@cassidyclown @syzygy it sucks because lpg was the future. Sure you filled up more but it was cheaper and clean burning. Less maintenance on your car since it burns so clean. Fucked up what they did over there. We didnt even get lpg cars, just forklifts.

@cassidyclown @creamqueen The LPG heads are also desirable for E85 builds
