       i think a lot of the problems with trans woman specific culture can just be explained by trans women being undersocialized and systemically barred from getting better at socializing, and this extends well past the internet but is also why it's so internet heavy

       Like, as an example I think Nyx is just correct that a lot of kinks people have are things they've memetically latched onto in a state of undersocialization, imitating tweets or tumblr posts they see or just the first couple of other trannies they manage to meet. Explains, in part, the common awful relations we have to sex.
