🤣 .. I run picom that makes unfocused windows transparent so I can at least see my wallpapers, sorta.I still use variations of this answer to set multi screen wallpaper/lockscreen: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/35754992/combine-and-resize-multiple-images-in-a-square-using-imagemagickAlways meant to do a full blog post on it, but never got around to it. This is the current version for my three monitor system:#!/usr/bin/fishset out /tmp/lock-$USER.pngfunction random_photo set -l PHOTOS /media/main/wallpaper/* set -l n (random 1 (count $PHOTOS)) echo $PHOTOS[$n]endfunction build_multipaper set p1 (random_photo) set p2 (random_photo) set p3 (random_photo) bash -c "convert -background none $p1 -resize 3840x2160 -gravity north -extent 3840x3840 \ \( $p2 -resize 5120x2160 -gravity north -extent 5120x3840 -geometry +3840+0 \) +append \ \( $p3 -resize 2160x3840 -gravity center -extent 2160x3840 -geometry +5120+0 \) +append \ /tmp/build.png" # avoid a broken image for i3lock mv /tmp/build.png $outendwhile true build_multipaper nitrogen --set-auto $out sleep 300end

@bronze https://github.com/catsout/wallpaper-engine-kde-pluginYou can do wallpaper engineIt comes with some *** however, some wallpapers crashes KDE, some others has fucked up effects. Audio and audio recognition doesn't work, etc. But the video ones (you can just download and get them and play them with something else) and most normal effects wallpapers works

@bronze @coolboymew ig, these apps should work other than KDE Plasma too such as GNOME, XFCE, or Budgie desktop if it supports. Although there are dozens of animated wallpaper plugins are available through some DE/WMs, at least if you want to unified the animated wallpaper just work on any DE/WMs these app are good for it.
