@Rwoeidk Ironu Chefu is superior in every way. Flay lets his challenger pick the theme ingredient, but then telegraps which dish is his during the "blind" tasting.Iron Chef comes out and says "Here is the Iron Chef's dish. If he falls brelow .800 he commits sudoku. Choose wisely, ditzy actress and fortune teller whose career our culture has legitimized!"

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u2e9nTeIwFkThe intro from the original Iron Chef was pure cinema. It felt like an epic experience before the show even starts. Food Network Iron Chef simply doesn't recreate the magic of the original Iron Chef.
