@coolboymew @thatbrickster that's the best part about this Highguard mess. It won't fail over character design, it will fail over being something nobody asked for.Concord was both, but journ*s would have you believe it only failed because people didn't like the designs.It's almost like the highguard developers believed the industry's own cover story on concord, so this is our chance to double down and make it clear nobody wants a game like this lol

OW2 I think was pretty much the line of absolute death kneel of the genre, not that the ones between OW1 and 2 were much successful either

@dielan @thatbrickster No idea, it was still early in development when OW2 didn't make waves, which might have been taken by Blizzard abusing players and losing goodwilld, but it was finishing up development when Concord screwed itself, is my guess. It was still too early to call it back then, but it was too late to cancel it by the time it seemed pretty sure that none others will makes it at this point
