       @Escoffier Minnesota is the most left wing state in the continental US. Only Hawaii is more leftist, and that's because it's the least White.There is no chance of Minnesota exporting their extreme Marxism to even a moderate red state. What might happen is they end up in a shooting war with the feds, which they would quickly lose.

       @judgedread I want to agree but the power differential is the large number of insane leftists throughout the government.  It seems unfortunately that removing leftists from the government has slowed down or stopped. We know the left has absolutely no problem using government power.  Rounding up the j6 folks is a good example as is Covid and unfortunately there is no true right represented i government while the left believe they are fighting a holy war.

       @Escoffier True, the feds can be taken over the same way the Bolsheviks took over Russia, with a vanguard and their agents in place, which would create a different civil war scenario.Civil war grows more likely by the day.But red states don't have the local power stack. Hardcore revolutionary leftists tend to avoid living in red states at all.

       @judgedread As a general rule if ive read history correctly more often than not in this situation the commies tend to win.  I honestly dont know what the defect is on the right but they seem genuinely unable to coalesce even to save themselves and their children
