@fujoshi no offense to christians, but i feel like none of them take their religion very seriously. they also have huge disagreements about basically every single aspect of their faith. so maybe you don't take the old testament as binding in any way, because jesus fulfilled the law or whatever. but for christians who do care about the old testament surely eating kosher should be just plainly obvious. ig i just can't really tell what a christian even is if a lot of them don't believe in the bible or don't believe in hell etc. like they seem to just make up whatever they want and then try to fit the vague aesthetic of "christianity" into it yk?

holy shit a good salt takei dont totally agree on eating kosher (if memory serves thats a rule specifically imposed upon the israelites and even jewish consesus is that gentiles do not strictly have to follow anything but the 10 commandmends to enter heaven) but also i wont call myself an expert because ive not read the scriptures. maybe i should grab an nrsv pdf and get readingor how much of the old and new testament does the quoran include? i know that they're mostly canonical to it i just dont know how its structuredCC: @fujoshi@social.xenofem.me

@zuki @fujoshi haven't heard that one in a long time :jokerweed: i mean fine. at least stop eating pork and blood and only eat ritually slaughtered animals. it's the bare minimum that every other monotheist agrees on.also the new and old testaments are not "canonical" to the quran. they explicitly contradict it and are demonstrably forgeries. the torah is not that tawrah and the gospel is not the injeel.
