@admin @csb say, why should I use Kubernetes (like k3s) to host certain web app/service in docker, instead of using docker on naked linux without Kubernetes?

@CSB @admin @csb you have a service in a docker container and the service crashes. What happens next?kubernetes comes with a bunch of architecture that comes with reasonable answers to this question and others. Without it, your site'll still work. You can even answer the question with your own code. If your site is not particularly downtime-sensitive you can defer answering the question until after you realize that your site has been broken for a few days.

@apropos @admin @csb ok, I see your point, it's more reliable in Kubernetes, but if I need the webapp/service only for my testing/development/configuring purposes, not for production, then why Kubernetes would be needed?

@CSB @admin @csb for testing your own code on your own machine even the docker might be overkill (much less if you have 10k dependencies - a container protects you from supply-chain malware).
